AXA Equitable Life Insurance announced that Claude Methot has joined the company as senior vice president and chief product officer. He reports directly to Christopher ‘Kip’ Condron, chairman and chief executive officer of AXA Equitable. In this role, Mr. Methot will have responsibility for all of the company’s life insurance and annuity product design. He will team with the company’s actuarial and finance areas to assure appropriate product pricing, asset/liability match, risk analysis and underwriting approach. He will also partner with the company’s marketing and distribution areas to provide the company’s distributors with the best products to meet client needs. Mr. Methot comes to AXA Equitable from it’s parent organization, the global AXA Group. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president in charge of offer and innovation for Life and Property & Casualty in group marketing, working closely with Mr. Condron. -PR Newswire
