Santander Poaches AXA Framlington’s Speck

axa-equitable1.jpgAXA Framlington fund of funds manager Keith Speck is to leave the group to become head of multi-manager at Santander Asset Management. Speck, who is leaving AXA Framlington on December 21st, will pass control of his multi-manager cautious income, balanced, and growth funds to the firm’s head of multi-manager, Caspar Rock. Speck will fill in the gap in Santander’s multi-manager team left by the departures of James Bevan and John Kelly in the last 12 months. Speck will work on a range of multi-manager funds at Santander, including the £168 million Abbey National multi-manager balanced fund.-Citywire
