Jefferies & Company announced the hiring of Jack Carvalho and S. Whit Yates as managing directors in the firm’s private client services (PCS) group. Carvalho and Yates will be based in the firm’s Atlanta office and will be instrumental in building the firm’s regional client base. Carvalho and Yates worked together previously at Credit Suisse.
Mr. Carvalho has experience serving high net-worth individuals, corporations and institutional investors. Mr. Yates has particular expertise in advising wealthy families and executives on diversification strategies following a wealth event, as well as derivative hedging strategies, restricted stock sales and asset allocation with a particular focus on the alternative asset class. -Business Wire
