Kansas City Life Insurance Appoints David A. Laird as Vice President and Controller

Kansas City Life Insurance announced that David A. Laird has been elected the company’s vice president and controller effective December 18, 2007. Mr. Laird replaces Brent C. Nelson who resigned November 26, 2007. Mr. Laird has been with the company since 1982, most recently as its assistant vice president and assistant controller. Mr. Laird will serve as the company’s chief accounting officer.-SEC Form 8k
