Bank of America Corporation mid-Atlantic commercial region Executive Cindy Flanders named Charles W. Greenberg middle market executive for Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and northern Delaware. In this role, Greenberg will lead a team of Bank of America middle market bankers in delivering comprehensive financial solutions for companies with revenues between $20 million and $2 billion. Greenberg has been with Bank of America and its predecessor banks since 1998. He spent the last four years as a commercial banking senior credit products officer in the greater Philadelphia market. In this role, Greenberg was in charge of assessing, designing and executing financial solutions for Bank of America commercial clients. He actively managed the credit and approval process for clients across a broad array of industries.
Bank of America Corporation announced that it named Thomas C. Woodward as Pennsylvania state president and Philadelphia market president. Woodward currently serves as senior risk manager for Bank of America’s commercial banking division with geographic responsibility for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. As state president, Woodward will provide business, civic and philanthropic leadership for Bank of America throughout Pennsylvania, with a focus on the Philadelphia market. He will also have direct oversight of Bank of America’s philanthropic and sponsorship assets in the region.
Bank of America Corporation and Countrywide Financial announced that David Sambol, Countrywide’s president and chief operating officer, will lead the combined consumer mortgage business once Bank of America’s planned purchase of Countrywide is complete. Sambol will continue in his current role, reporting to Countrywide Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Angelo R. Mozilo until completion of the transaction, which is targeted for the third quarter. In a related announcement that Bank of America global consumer and small business banking President Liam McGee announced that Card Services Executive Bruce Hammonds will assume the newly created role of global consumer credit executive when the purchase closes. Hammonds, who will continue to report to McGee, will be in charge of all consumer credit products, including the consumer mortgage organization, Bank of America card services and unsecured lending. Sambol will report to Hammonds when the transaction closes. The global consumer credit group will be part of global consumer and small business banking. Floyd Robinson will continue reporting to McGee and lead Bank of America consumer real estate and insurance services until the transaction closes.
