Assurant Announces Retirement of Jerome Atkinson

Assurant announced that Jerome Atkinson, executive vice president and chief compliance officer will be retiring from the company on July 1, 2008. Due to the early completion of the transition of his responsibilities, Mr. Atkinson has decided to retire as of June 16, 2008.-SEC Form 8k
