Silvercrest Asset Management Group announced that it has hired J. Allen Gray as managing director with responsibility for institutional sales and consultant relations. Mr. Gray will lead efforts to introduce company’s institutional-quality equity, fixed-income and alternative investment portfolios to corporations, endowments, foundations, public pension funds, Taft-Hartley and other institutional investors. Mr. Gray has over 25 years of extensive business management, investment, marketing, sales and relationship building experience, with a primary focus on institutional investors. Most recently, Mr. Gray served as a managing partner and a member of the management committee of Osprey Partners Investment Management and as president of the Osprey Concentrated Large Cap Value Equity Fund.-Business Wire
