Barclays Capital named Trace McCreary a managing director and head of US infrastructure finance. He will be based in New York and report to Rick Van Zijl, co-head of US leveraged finance. McCreary was most recently a senior managing director in the global industries group at Bear Stearns, where he oversaw infrastructure coverage. Barclays stated McCreary will be responsible for developing relationships in the expanding infrastructure sector and will focus on airports, energy generation, ports, rail, roads, social, telecommunications, water and waste water infrastructure.
In addition, Barclays brought on James Paris as a managing director and head of paper and packaging investment banking. Paris, most recently a managing director in Deutsche Bank’s leveraged finance group, will be based in New York.-Investment Dealers Digest
