Brean Murray, Carret & Co., announced that Jose J. Haresco, Ph.D. has joined the firm’s equity research department as senior vice president and senior analyst in the healthcare research group. Based in the firm’s San Francisco office, Dr. Haresco will conduct proprietary industry thematic and company-specific research in the medical technology sector.
While associated with Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. for nearly four years, Dr. Haresco covered cardiology, aesthetics, and orthopaedics/spine companies. Previously, Jose worked as senior associate analyst in the healthcare area of C.E. Unterberg Towbin’s corporate finance department.-Asia Pulse
