Royal Bank of Scotland Group Announces Executive Changes

royal-bank-of-scottland.jpgThe Royal Bank of Scotland Group announced two appointments at senior positions to boost its global banking and markets business in India. Prakash Shah has been appointed as vice-president (commodities), while Anand Beria has joined the bank’s financial institution sales team.

Shah, prior to joining RBS, spent five years trading commodities in India and the Asia Pacific region for Merrill Lynch in Singapore. In his new role, he would be based in Mumbai and report to Arun Khurana, head of markets, India. While Beria, previously with Rabobank in India would be a part of the FI sales team, reporting to Jayen N Shah, head of FI sales team in India.-The Press Trust of India
