Morgan Stanley has appointed Kate Richdale as the firm’s new chief executive for Southeast Asia. Richdale is to succeed Ronald Ong, who is to become chairman. In her new role, Richdale would be also be head of investment banking for Southeast Asia, and would be based in Singapore.
