Loughlin Meghji Establishes New Corporate Finance Group

Loughlin Meghji announced three senior staff appointments, expanding the firm’s expertise to include a new corporate finance group. Charles Smith, Adam Sell and Sameer Khambadkone recently joined the firm and will focus on assisting clients with corporate finance-related issues such as capital structure advisory, debt facility amendments and restructurings, capital raising and acquisition/divestiture advisory. Their expertise will be applicable for companies with solid operating performance that are facing financing-related issues given the seizure of the capital markets, as well as companies that are facing operating difficulties due to the difficult economic environment.

Previously, Messrs Smith, Sell and Khambadkone were with JPMorgan securities, and were primarily responsible for managing leveraged finance executions for private equity groups and their portfolio companies, as well as for non-investment grade corporations. Mr. Smith has 19 years of leveraged loan and high-yield experience, most recently as a managing director in JPMorgan’s leveraged finance group. Mr. Sell has 13 years of debt structuring and capital markets experience most recently as an executive director in JPMorgan’s leveraged finance group. Mr. Khambadkone has 11 years of corporate finance experience, most recently as an executive director in JPMorgan’s financial sponsor group.-Business Wire
