Morgan Stanley Appoints Henry McVey & Marcus Rivaldi

morgan-stanley1.jpgMorgan Stanley announced that Henry McVey, who previously worked at Morgan Stanley for more than a decade, is returning to the Firm as head of global macro and asset allocation for Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Mr. McVey will have portfolio management responsibilities and oversight of MSIM’s global macro and asset allocation investment team. He will also serve as MSIM’s strategist, with responsibility for articulating his market outlook and strategy to clients. Mr. McVey, who most recently was a portfolio manager at Fortress Investment Group. -Business Wire

Morgan Stanley has appointed Marcus Rivaldi as an executive director in fixed income research. Mr. Rivaldi will be responsible for credit analysis of European insurance companies. He will be based in London as part of the European financials credit research group. Mr. Rivaldi joins Morgan Stanley from the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was a director in the group’s fixed income hybrid capital advisory and structuring business. -Datamonitor NewsWire
