Pharos Capital Group Promotes Joseph Acevedo

Pharos Capital Group announced that it has promoted Joseph Acevedo from associate to vice president. The promotion was effective June 1, 2009. Mr. Acevedo work in the firm’s Dallas office. Mr. Acevedo will continue to help lead deal execution and due diligence and will increasingly be responsible for monitoring the firm’s portfolio companies. He will also become more active in deal sourcing. He played an integral role in Pharos’s 2008 investment (through Lighthouse Holdings) in American Beacon Advisors. Mr. Acevedo will continue to work closely with portfolio companies, including MCCI Medical Group, Medfinders and Reel FX. -Business Wire
