Farmers New World Life Insurance announced that Katherine P. Cody has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Kathy brings more than twenty years of experience in financial services and accounting to the CFO position. Joining Farmers from The Phoenix Companies, Cody held positions including assistant vice president corporate finance, second vice president strategic development, vice president and treasurer and senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Most recently, she was responsible for leading Phoenix’s emerging growth line alternative retirement solutions.
