Bacchus Capital Management announced the appointment of Quinton Jay as managing director. Jay will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential transactions, overseeing the performance of Bacchus portfolio wineries and managing the research, investment and marketing teams. He has 15 years of experience running both boutique and established, well-known wineries. Most recently, Jay was vice president and general manager at Artesa Winery and Vineyards, managing all aspects of the ultra-premium brand. Previously, he was managing director of Bacchus Consulting Group, an independent winery consulting firm he founded in 2001, whose major clients included Beringer Blass Wines, Etude, Quintessa and Geyser Peak Wines. Prior to Bacchus Consulting, Jay was general manager of Bonny Doon Vineyard. -PR Newswire
