Guy Carpenter has named Hernan Irarrazaval the leader of GC Fac, the broker’s dedicated business unit for facultative operations, in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Irarrazaval served as country head for Chile, Colombia and Peru.
The company has also appointed Claude Lefebvre as head of operations for its Instrat quantitative analysis and modelling services unit.
Based in London, Mr. Lefebvre will lead the Instrat teams in both the UK and Continental Europe. He has more than 17 years of underwriting, actuarial and reinsurance broking experience and was previously head of casualty at Arch Reinsurance in Bermuda. -Post Magazine
