Credit Suisse Group has appointed David Livingstone as new chief executive for its business in Australia. He will be based in Sydney.
Livingstone, who currently leads Credit Suisse’s emerging markets and East Asian mergers and acquisitions business, will lead the Australian businesses from February 2010. He will report to the Asia Pacific chief executive, Kai Nargolwala.
Livingstone, who is also a managing director in Credit Suisse’s European investment banking department, will replace David Trude.
Livingstone worked at HSBC and Goldman Sachs before joining Credit Suisse in 2007. -AAP Newsfeed
