Barclays Wealth announced that Urban Wilde has been appointed managing director, chief risk officer, for Asia Pacific, effective from Aug. 2, 2010. He will also be a member of the Barclays Wealth Asia Pacific Management Committee.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Wilde will oversee the operational risk and credit risk teams across the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr. Wilde brings with him more than 20 years of experience from UBS Bank where he was most recently managing director, strategic projects with UBS’ risk team in Zurich. -The Straits Times (Singapore)
