HSBC announced that Ben Katz has joined the company as head of financial investment- grade debt markets for the U.S. He will be based in New York and report to Rob Gelnaw, HSBC’s head of debt capital markets for North America.
Katz, who will oversee debt origination for U.S. institutions, will also co-head HSBC’s financing solutions group for the Americas with Matt Riez.
Katz previously was with Deutsche Bank.
