Credit Suisse Appoints Rob Jesudason, Nicolo Salsano, Simon Yuan, Mike Dryden, Jay Kim, Jan Stuart and Andy Shaw

Credit Suisse Group has announced that it has named Rob Jesudason to the new position of head of financial institutions coverage across emerging markets within its investment banking division. Nicolo Salsano and Simon Yuan were also named as co-heads of the Asia Pacific region’s financial institutions group. -Global Banking News

Credit Suisse Group also announced that Mike Dryden was appointed to co-head the securitised products portfolio solutions and residential mortgage finance and securitisation team. Jay Kim, who joins from from Barclays, will head of the unit and expand the business of securitised assets. -Global Banking News

Credit Suisse AG announced that Jan Stuart and Andy Shaw will join Credit Suisse’s fixed income research department as head of energy research, and head of base metals research, respectively.

Stuart will be based in New York, effective September 1, while Shaw will be based in Singapore and join in late July. Both will report to Ric Deverell, head of commodities research.

Stuart joins from Macquarie Securities Group, where he was most recently the co-head of global commodities research and global oil economist and responsible for covering the oil, gas and energy commodity sectors within global equity research. Prior to that, he was the global oil economist at UBS Securities and has also held research positions with Fimat USA and ABN Amro.

Shaw joins from BHP Billiton, where he held the position of manager of business analysis. In this capacity, he managed market and industry analytical studies and led a specialist team responsible for market analysis of China across BHPB’s commodity spectrum. -PR Newswire
