Imperial Capital Group announced the expansion of its fixed income sales & trading business with the addition of senior credit sales and trading professionals in Imperial Capital, its US based investment banking platform, and Imperial Capital (International), its UK affiliate.
In the US, Imperial Capital’s credit sales & trading group added managing director and senior desk analyst, David Havens, managing director, institutional credit sales, Paul Scotto, managing director and senior trader, Nikolaos Argiriou, and senior vice president, institutional credit sales, Adam Braham.
Havens is a managing director and senior desk analyst with over 25 years of industry experience who will primarily cover insurance and the US financial sector for Imperial Capital’s credit sales & trading group. He spent the bulk of his career as a managing director in credit trading at UBS Securities covering insurance and REITS and also serving as the head of the US high grade research team for a number of years. Most recently, he was a managing director and senior credit strategist at RBS Securities covering the US financial sector including banks, brokers and insurers. In addition, he was a managing director and senior credit strategist at Nomura.
Scotto is a managing director in Imperial Capital’s credit sales group based in New York. He brings more than 10 years of sales experience to Imperial. Most recently, he was a director, U.S. investment grade sales at Knight Capital Group. Prior to Knight, he was an executive director, credit fixed income sales at UBS Investment Bank.
Argiriou joins Imperial Capital as a managing director in the high yield trading group in New York. He brings more than 10 years of trading experience to Imperial. Most recently, he was a director at BNP Paribas Securities Corp. He also spent time in trading as a director at Credit Suisse Securities and as a trader at RBS Securities, Banc of America and Merrill Lynch.
Braham is a senior vice president in Imperial Capital’s credit sales group in New York. Most recently, he was a director in the credit sales group at Knight Capital for four years.
