Morgan Joseph Appoints J. Sherman Bartley, Todd Clark, Chesley Snider and Gregory Pizzitola

Morgan Joseph has appointed four new managing directors to its institutional equity marketing group.

The new institutional sales managing directors include J. Sherman Bartley and Todd Clark, both of whom will cover West Coast institutions and operate out of California, and Chesley Snider and Gregory Pizzitola, who will be based in New York City.

Bartley most recently was managing director of institutional sales at Soleil Securities.

Clark was a managing director and head of equity capital at San Francisco-based Nollenberger Capital Partners for the past five years.

Snider’s most recent assignment prior to joining Morgan Joseph was as vice president of research sales at C.L. King & Associates, which he joined in 2007.

Morgan Joseph announced the appointment of two senior bankers to its healthcare investment banking group.

Jill Steier was named a managing director, and Jennifer Meyers joined as a director.

Morgan Joseph announced the addition of three highly experienced professionals to its equity sales and structured products groups. Jeffrey Kaufman and Andrew Cohen have joined equity institutional sales, as managing director and senior vice president respectively. David B. Morgan Joseph & Co. Announces Appointments

Morgan Joseph & Co. announced formation of a new analytics and trading group that will operate in the secondary market for fixed income structured products. The Morgan Joseph team initially will trade such structured products as residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), structured credit securities (CLOS) and asset backed securities (ABS).

Morgan Joseph named Darren Wolberg and Dale S. Hoffman as managing directors and heads of the new group, reporting to Matthew Stedman, head of sales. Messrs. Hoffman and Wolberg were previously associated with the structured products group at BB&T Capital Markets.

Mr. Wolberg, who has 23 years of structured products trading experience, most recently was managing director of the alternative spread products trading desk at BB&T Capital.
