UBS Announces Executive Changes

ubs.jpgUBS AG announced that its Asia Pacific investment banking head has resigned, and announced fresh appointments. Rob Rankin, who has led the franchise across the region since 2003, has resigned to spend more time with his family. The group has appointed David Chin and Matthew Hanning, Hong Kong-based mergers and acquisitions bankers, as joint heads of Asia investment banking. Hanning was previously head of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance for Asia Pacific, while Chin ran the Asian financial institutions group M&A team.

UBS has also named China banker Henry Cai as its Asia investment banking chairman.
