Jennifer M. Mulloy was promoted to managing director from director. She serves in TA’s Menlo Park office, focusing on investments in healthcare, business services and consumer companies.

M. Roy Burns was promoted to principal from senior vice president. He serves in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in financial services, business services and other growth services companies.

Mark H. Carter was promoted to principal from senior vice president. He serves in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in the healthcare, business services and retail sectors.

Hythem T. El-Nazer was promoted to principal from senior vice president. He serves in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in communications, media and technology companies.

TA Associates Announces Staff Promotions

TA Associates announced the promotions of two members of the company’s investment staff. Effective January 1, 2009, Hythem T. El-Nazer and James R. Hart were promoted from vice president to senior vice president. Mr. El-Nazer serves in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in telecommunications, media and other technology-based services companies. He is a member of the board of directors of eSecLending and Radialpoint, and a board observer at Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E. and Weather Investments S.p.A. TA Associates announced the promotions of six members of the company’s investment staff, effective January 1, 2008.
