Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. continued to aggressively expand its debt capital markets team, with the addition of nine senior capital markets veterans to its fixed income sales and trading business. Joining Cantor as managing directors are Suzie Demer, Los Angeles; Carl Schref, Chicago; John Maunsell, Chicago; Duane Erickson, Chicago; Donald Chisholm, Boca Raton, Florida; and Thomas R. Elliot, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Lorraine Tristano and Bradley Fetzer join as senior vice president in the Shrewsbury, New Jersey and New York offices, respectively, and Nick Onesto joins as vice president in Los Angeles.
The nine new members of Cantor’s debt capital markets team by office location are:
Chicago- Carl Schref with over 25 years’ financial industry experience, joins Cantor from WaMu Capital, and will focus on taxable fixed-income and mortgage-backed sales and trading. Prior to WaMu Capital, he worked for Banc of America Securities and UBS Securities. Mr. Schref reports to Mr. Moore.
John Maunsell joins Cantor from RBC Capital Markets where he served as managing director in institutional fixed income sales. He also reports to Mr. Moore.
Duane Erickson focusing on mortgage backed-sales, joins Cantor from RBC Capital Markets where he served as managing director. He will also report to Mr. Moore.
Los Angeles - Suzie Demer joins the mortgage-backed sales and trading group with a focus on taxable fixed income. Ms. Demer, who has 22 years’ experience in capital markets, joins Cantor from WaMu Capital where her focus was on mortgage-backed sales. Ms. Demer reports to Mr. Moore.
Nick Onesto focusing on mortgage-backed sales, corporate bond sales, asset backed securities and US government agencies, joins Cantor from WaMu Capital, and reports to Mr. Moore.
Boca Raton- Donald Chisholm focusing on high yield, distressed debt, and structured products joins Cantor from BB&T Capital where he served as senior vice president and helped create and structure the high yield group and traded high yield distressed debt and private placements. Mr. Chisholm, who has 15 years’ industry experience, reports to Mr. Haag.
Charlotte- Thomas R. Elliot with 24 years’ industry experience, joins Cantor from WaMu Capital and will focus on taxable fixed income - mortgage origination coverage sales. He reports to Mr. Matthews.
Shrewsbury - Lorraine Tristano concentrating on high yield and distressed securities sales, Mshas over 15 years’ industry experience, including positions with JPMorgan Securities where she focused on high yield sales. She reports to Mr. Haag.
New York- Bradley Fetzer with over ten years’ industry experience, joins Cantor from Societe Generale. He will focus on high yield and distressed debt sales. Mr. Fetzer will report to Mr. Haag. -Business Wire
