Deutsche Bank has enlarged corporate and investment bank group (CIB) and has appointed Loh Boon Chye to lead the CIB business in the Asia region. He is also a member of the executive committee.
Loh joined DB in 1995 and became responsible for all Asian fixed-income markets and OTC derivatives business a few years later. In 2001, he became chief executive of global markets in Singapore, and in 2002, head of global markets for Asia ex-Japan. Since 2003 he has been chairman of the Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Committee, which set out to develop Singapore as a regional centre for FX, money market, fixed-income and derivatives transactions. -The Business Times Singapore
