ACE Group Appoints Bruce Kessler

The ACE Group announced the appointment of Bruce Kessler as president of ACE Westchester Specialty Group.

In this role, Kessler will oversee all operations for ACE Westchester’s wide array of specialty property, casualty, environmental, professional liability and inland marine insurance products.

Marsh Announces New Executive Appointments

Marsh announced the appointments of three industry veterans to its new global rail practice, including Jim Beardsley as global leader. Also joining the global rail practice are Jim Wolfarth as senior vice president, casualty, and John Raymond as senior vice president, property.

Beardsley brings nearly 30 years of insurance brokerage experience to Marsh, including more than 15 years in the rail industry. Brown & Brown announced that J. Scott Penny, CIC, has been promoted to the position of regional president. Mr. Raab will lead the group responsible RMBS loss mitigation and risk remediation, including enforcing Assured Guaranty’s rights to submit or “put back” mortgage loans that have breached representations and warranties for repurchase and supervising the obligations of servicers of RMBS transactions that AGC or AGM have insured.

Assured Guaranty and Assured Guaranty Municipal also announced that Donald J. Farrell will join AGC and AGM as director, public finance business development, Eastern region.

In his new role, Mr. Farrell will primarily focus on maintaining and expanding relationships with public finance and financial advisory firms in the Eastern region. He reports to William O’Keefe, senior managing director of the business development group.

Mr. Farrell joined AGC and AGM from Ambac Assurance, where he served most recently as managing director and head of public finance East.
